Fahlgreen Solutions, LLC, a developer of biometric identity solutions, announced they have won a Federal clearinghouse bid to provide electronic fingerprint processing through the FBI’s Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS).  The FBI released the results after extensively reviewing applications from a number of pre-screened candidates.  The decision by the FBI allows Fahlgreen Solutions to process background checks directly with the Federal agency.  “I cannot stress how important this decision is to our company and our products,” said Susanne Kufahl, CEO and President of Fahlgreen Solutions.  “Not only does this give us the ability to process FBI background checks nationwide, it really gives our company and our solution a Federal stamp of approval.”
Fahlgreen Solutions offers a comprehensive line of positive ID background checking solutions called emaChecksTM.  The “ema” stands for “Entirely Mobile Applicant”, and reflects the product’s ability to process employee and licensing background checks quickly and from virtually anywhere.  “If the employee, volunteer or licensing applicant has a criminal record, our customers will receive those results within 24 hours or less,” adds Kufahl.
emaChecksTM solutions are available for State and Federal background checks, as well as, a product designed specifically for state law enforcement called emaCIISTM.  Securing the Federal bid will now allow Fahlgreen Solutions to offer clearinghouse to clearinghouse services under the name emaClearTM.  "It has always been our focus to provide simple, complete solutions," explained Rachael Krueger, product manager, "Running criminal backgrounds checks has been a burden for businesses.
