Wireless retrofit alarm module introduced

Allows existing alarms to work with modern phone platforms

Network Multifamily Security Corporation, part of the Protection One, Inc. family of companies, has developed the Multifamily 360EZ, which makes existing Network alarm systems compatible with cell phone-only and VoIP home phone systems for residents of multifamily communities.

Alarm systems traditionally require land-based phone lines for monitoring, yet VoIP and cell only phone systems are very popular among todays tech-savvy apartment residents.  This conflict often forced a resident to choose between a monitored alarm system and a modern phone platform.  Over a year ago, Network developed the Multifamily 360, an alarm system thats compatible with virtually all telecom platforms.

"The original 360 continues to provide a viable solution to the challenges our new customers face today, but we wanted a simpler solution for our existing customers," said Mandy Vallowe, senior vice president at Network.

"Our goal to offer our customers an alternative to a full system change-out resulted in the new Multifamily 360EZ -- the first extension of the 360 line.  The 360EZ can be quickly retrofitted to most of Networks existing alarm systems, allowing us to monitor those systems regardless of whether or not a landline is present.  The Multifamily 360EZ gives our property owners confidence that new telecom systems wont conflict with their alarm system monitoring now or in the future," Vallowe said.

"We are very pleased with our growing 360 line of products and services and believe the new Multifamily 360EZ illustrates our desire to continually expand the range of products that we offer.  Our focus also will continue to be on delivering the highest quality service to our clients," Vallowe added.

For 25 years, Network has served the countrys multifamily industry with state-of-the-art security systems and services, which include a UL Listed central control station that monitors every alarm with callback verification.  Clients report Networks alarm programs can increase occupancy, help attain faster lease-up, generate higher rents, reduce turnover and provide a competitive edge for their multifamily properties.
