TSS mobile crime fighting CCTV is shortlisted for two security excellence awards

TSS (Traffic Safety Systems) -- part of AD Group -- has been shortlisted as a finalist in two categories of the prestigious Security Excellence Awards 2007, with the company in contention for both the Best Security Innovation and Best Integrated Security Solution awards.

The final results will be announced on 10 October at a ceremony in London¡¯s Park Lane, the U.K.
For Best Security Innovation, it was the TSSs advanced PatrolVu mobile digital CCTV system which stood out during the shortlisting process.  The new PatrolVu system -- created to address the key issues of deterring street crime and anti-social behaviour -- offers significant performance improvements and user benefits over older tape based analogue technology and features a multi-camera recording system with high powered zoom cameras capable of operating in low light conditions, on board monitoring and video playback, pre-event recording, GPS coordinates and full system controls for the operators.
